As night follows day the ill-health effects of smoking e-cigarettes are here.
The vaping of e-cigarettes were manipulated by various hands and users and commonly contain two powerfully addictive substances: Nicotine and THC (CBD = “legal” marijuana).
The result is that addicted users feel compelled to keep on using the unregulated device and its “feel good” contents. However the delivery mechanisms – devices and their ingredients contain additives that damage the lung. The lung is damaged in an irreversible manner and some cases resulted in death.
The burden on the national health-care system is twofold:
First, a new generation of patients is emerging with chronic lung disease.
Second, rehabilitation from the double addiction to nicotine and marijuana is many times more resistive to recovery.
